JUST ANNOUNCED - SHAWN MCMANUS JOINS THE PCBS CAST - 
Whooo Hoooo - Shawn McManus is coming to the show
So we are now officially out of room.  Shawn McManus is taking that last lone table and we could not be happier.  Shawn's current work for DDP is the Milo Ventimiglia (He's the guy from Heroes) produced project, REST.  Yes, the REST that was Ralph's pick.  You've got to visit Shawn's site to appreciate the quality of his work!    Shawn McManus

 

 

Steve Bissette was the defining artist of Swamp Thing, John Constantine and somuch more.JUST ANNOUNCED - STEVE BISSETTE TO APPEAR AT PCBS! - Okay, so who's the luckiest comic shop around?? We are!  We are because we just landed STEVE BISSETTE as a guest for the show!  In case you live in a cave, or are new to the comic seen, Steve Bissette first came into the comic scene (at least most notably) with Watchmen's ALAN MOORE, on Saga of the Swamp Thing, for DC comics.  Steve was on the book with Moore for years.  Eventually Steve left the big comic companies for other endeavors but he has always had a hand in the comic scene, supporting small press and Vermont's School, The Center For Cartoon Studies.  Steve’s most recent work includes a collaboration with show’s special guest, Christopher Golden on the book, Prince of Stories: The Many Worlds of Neil Gaiman.  Steve will be bringing sketches to sell at the show (3 piece max per person) but will not be doing commissions nor will he be traveling with Vintage art.  He will have plenty of information about his school as well as a slide show.   Swing By Steve's BLOG

David Petersen  - David is the winner of 2 of the comic industries most prestigious awards for 2008!   His series, Mouse Guard won the Eisner Award for Best Publication for Kids (Fall 1152 & Winter 1152) and the Eisner Award for Best Graphic Album - Reprint (Fall 1152 Hardcover).  Take a minute and visit David's website.  While the award may have been in the children's category you will see that David's talents appeal to everyone.  Be sure to visit David at the show and have him sign your hard cover and comics.  

Christopher Golden's two most recent works will be available in October!
Christopher Golden - You have to visit Chris's website to appreciate all the work he has done.  Coming in October you will find 2 new works from Chris that you can purchase and bring to the show for an autograph!   Watch for his new novel, Soulless and his co-authored book Prince of Stories: The Many Worlds of Neil Gaiman.

Joe Hill - Joe is the author of the best selling novel, Heart Shaped Box, as well as the upcoming novel, 20th Century Ghosts.  Joe's comic work includes the hit series, LOCKE and KEY, from IDW publishing, now available in a hard cover collection.  Joe's visit to the show will start around noon and end when he feels like hitting the road, so make sure you line up at his table early.  Be sure to head on over to his website Joe Hill Fiction to find out everything he has going on.  We're proud to be able to host some of NH most notable talent at the show. 


Craig Rousseau - A veteran of the comic biz, Craig's works have been numerous through out the years.  Got a Legion of Superheroes Happy Meal box?  Bring it to the show for Craig to sign.  Visit his website to find out where else you've seen his work, and didn't even know it! While you're at it, be sure to head on over to the Perhapanaut's site and see what Craig and Todd have brewed up!

Atomic Robo is the smash hit with art by Scott Wegener
Scott Wegener - While fairly new to the industry, Scott has made quite an impact.  Nominated for an Eisner award, for his work on Atomic Robo, Scott's a NH resident that is making it big in the comic world.  You'll be able to pick up a couple of Atomic Robo exlcusives at the show as well as the trade of the first series.  Check out Scott's site and visit his publisher's site as well!

Jay Piscopo - Published and produced in Maine, The Undersea Adventures of Capt'n Eli is a wonderful all ages book.  With brilliant art work and wonderful story-telling, this is a book that will get kids reading comics again.  Every show attendee will receive a free preview copy of Capt'n Eli and the Capt'n Eli crew will be on hand with plenty of volume 1 and volume 2,  Be sure to visit the Capt'n Eli website!  Be sure to pick up a case of Capt'n Eli soda at the show!
