Halloween is truly a maker’s holiday!
To share the love every year Port City Makerspace is offering Free Costume-Building Nights to encourage people to go above and beyond for the costume!
Their Classroom space and Electronics Lab spaces are open for use during these nights from 5-8pm. Members and volunteers will be around to work on their costumes and help you with yours!
Every Friday from 5-8pm in October , they will be hosting a FREE time to work at our Classroom. There will be large open tables to work on, a variety of hand tools and machines available like scissors, large rulers, 3D printers, and a laser cutter. Each night we’ll have an experienced maker to show anyone interested how to sew, make wigs, and add electronics to your costume.
They are also looking for additional people interested in helping out, preferably someone that has experience with prop-making.
